Similarities and Differences

The similarities between the film projector and the DVD player are
Film projectors and dvd players have one thing in common. They both use a film strip to show light and this light also shows the movie that is being watched. They both use a type of light.

The differences between the film projector and the DVD player are these
Dvd players have remotes that you can use to watch a certain chapter in a movie film projectors you cant stop they just keep going straight through the whole entire movie

History

1. The history benhind these two are the first film projector was created in 1890 French Lumiere
brothers and Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison is also known for creating the first light bulb.

2. The History behind the dvd player is the first dvd player first made its apperence in JAPAN in
 November 1996. Prices for these dvd players slowly rose in 1997. Costemers would have to pay one
thousand dollars and up if they wanted these inventions in there homes. The DVD player is not
 owned by just one company.  It is owned by many different companies including Mitsubisi, Time
 Warner, Sony, Philips. These companies all own the DVD player.

3. The DVD player was invented in the early 1990's but it was not offically announced till 1995. The
two main and only companies that back up the DVD player are SONY,  and PHILIPS.

4. The first film projector was demonstrated in the United States in 1895 by a man named Woodville Latham and his sons, Otway and Gray, Woodville was a A former Confederate officer during the American Civil War, but he was also a chemistry professor at the University of West Virginia for a time.
